سَمِعَ أَبِي رَجُلًا مُتَعَلِّقاً بِالْبَيْتِ وَ هُوَ يَقُولُ. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبِي يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ لَا تَبْتُرْهَا لَا تَظْلِمْنَا حَقَّنَا قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Al Qadah, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘My<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup> overheard a man attaching to the House (Kaaba) and he was saying, ‘O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! Send <span class="iTxt">Salawāt</span> upon Muhammad<sup>saww</sup>’. So my<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup> said to me: ‘O servant of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! Do not amputate it! Do not be unjust to us<sup>asws</sup> of our<sup>asws</sup> rights! Say, ‘O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! Send <span class="iTxt">Salawāt</span> upon Muhammad<sup>saww</sup> and the People<sup>asws</sup> of his<sup>saww</sup> Household’.
