سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ ثَلَاثَةٌ دَعْوَتُهُمْ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ الْحَاجُّ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ تَخْلُفُونَهُ وَ الْغَازِي فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ تَخْلُفُونَهُ وَ الْمَرِيضُ فَلَا تُغِيظُوهُ وَ لَا تُضْجِرُوهُ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Isa Bin Abdullah Al Qummy who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘Three (people), their supplications are Answered – the Pilgrim (of Hajj), so consider how you could be his replacement (how you could look after his affairs in his absence), and the fighter (gone for a battle) in the Way of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, so consider how you could be his replacement (how you could look after his affairs in his absence), and the sick one, so you should neither enrage him nor bore him’.
