اسْتَوَى مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ فَلَيْسَ شَيْءٌ أَقْرَبَ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ .

اور اسی سند سے سہل سے، حسن بن محبوب سے، محمد بن ماردٍ سے کہ ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے اللہ عزوجل کے قول کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا: «الرَّحْمَنُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ اسْتَوَى» [قرآن ۲۰:۵] پس فرمایا: 'ہر چیز سے برابر ہے؛ کوئی چیز اس سے دوسری چیز سے زیادہ قریب نہیں۔'
Translation
And by this chain, from Sahl, from Al Hassan Bin Mahboub, from Muhamad Bin Marid, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> was asked about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:20#h5"><a href="/books/quran:20#h5">[20:5]</a></a> The Beneficent is Even upon the Throne</span>. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Even from everything. So there isn’t anything closer to Him<sup>azwj</sup> than a (another) thing’.
