إِذَا أَوَى أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ فَلْيَقُلِ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي احْتَبَسْتُ نَفْسِي عِنْدَكَ فَاحْتَبِسْهَا فِي مَحَلِّ رِضْوَانِكَ وَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ وَ إِنْ رَدَدْتَهَا إِلَى بَدَنِي فَارْدُدْهَا مُؤْمِنَةً عَارِفَةً بِحَقِّ أَوْلِيَائِكَ حَتَّى تَتَوَفَّاهَا عَلَى ذَلِكَ
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, (It has been narrated) raising it to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Whenever one of you retires to his bed, so let him say, ‘O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! I have retained my soul with You<sup>azwj</sup>, therefore Withhold it in a place of Your<sup>azwj</sup> Pleasure and Your<sup>azwj</sup> Forgiveness, and if you return it to my body, so return it as a <span class="iTxt">Momin</span>, a recogniser of the rights of Your<sup>azwj</sup> Guardians<sup>asws</sup> until You Cause him to die upon that’.
