كَانَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ إِذَا أَوَيْتَ إِلَى فِرَاشِكَ فَقُلْ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِيَ الْأَيْمَنَ لِلَّهِ عَلَى مِلَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفاً لِلَّهِ مُسْلِماً وَ مَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Usman Bin Isa, from Khalid Bin Najeeh who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘Whenever you retire to your bed, so say, ‘In the Name of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! I place my right side (on the bed) for the Sake of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, upon the Nation of Ibrahim<sup>as</sup> the upright for the Sake of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, a Muslim, and I am not from the Polytheists’.
