إِنَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ فِيهِ مَنَارُ الْهُدَى وَ مَصَابِيحُ الدُّجَى فَلْيَجْلُ جَالٍ بَصَرَهُ وَ يَفْتَحُ لِلضِّيَاءِ نَظَرَهُ فَإِنَّ التَّفَكُّرَ حَيَاةُ قَلْبِ الْبَصِيرِ كَمَا يَمْشِي الْمُسْتَنِيرُ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ بِالنُّورِ .

محمد بن یحیی نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے محمد بن احمد بن یحیی سے، انہوں نے طلحہ بن زید سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: بے شک اس قرآن میں ہدایت کے مینار اور تاریکیوں کے چراغ ہیں۔ پس چاہیے کہ دیکھنے والا اپنی بصارت کو جلا بخشے اور روشنی کے لیے اپنی نگاہ کو کھولے، کیونکہ بے شک تفکر بصیر کے دل کی حیات ہے، جیسے روشن خیال شخص تاریکیوں میں نور کے ساتھ چلتا ہے۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad Bin Yahya, from Talha Bin Zayd, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘This Quran, in it are minarets of guidance, and lanterns for the darkness. So let him brighten the brightness of his vision and open his vision for the illumination, for the pondering is a revival for the insight of ‘قَلْبِ’ (wisdom sometimes also translated as the heart) just as the enlightened one would walk in ‘فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ بِالنُّورِ’ the darkness with the light’.
