ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: نہیں، اللہ کی قسم! نہ تو امر اور خلافت کبھی آل ابی بکر اور عمر کی طرف لوٹے گی، نہ کبھی بنو امیہ کی طرف، اور نہ کبھی طلحہ اور زبیر کی اولاد میں — اور یہ اس لیے کہ انہوں نے قرآن کو پھینک دیا، سنتوں کو باطل کر دیا، اور احکام کو معطل کر دیا۔ اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے فرمایا: قرآن گمراہی سے ہدایت ہے، اندھے پن سے وضاحت ہے، لغزشوں سے نجات ہے، تاریکی سے نور ہے، نئے حوادث سے روشنی ہے، ہلاکت سے تحفظ ہے، گمراہی سے رشد ہے، فتنوں سے وضاحت ہے، اور دنیا سے آخرت تک پہنچانے کا ذریعہ ہے؛ اور اس میں تمہارے دین کا کمال ہے — اور کوئی قرآن سے منحرف نہیں ہوا مگر آگ کی طرف۔

Translation

Abu Ali Al Ashary, from one of his companions, from Al Khashhab, raising it, said, ‘Abu Abdullah^asws said: ‘No, by Allah^azwj! Neither will the command nor the Caliphate return to Abu Bakr, and Umar, ever, nor to the Clan of Umayya, ever, nor to be among the children of Talha and Al-Zubeyr, ever, and that is because they discarded the Quran, and invalidated the Sunnah, and disrupted the judgments. And Rasool-Allah^saww said: ‘The Quran is a Guidance from the straying, and is a clarity from the blindness, and a stability from the stumbling, and a light from the darkness, and an illumination from the newly-occurring events, and an infallibility from the destruction, and a reasoning from the temptation, and an explanation from the strife, and an achievement from the world to the Hereafter; and therein is perfection of your Religion, and no one would deviate from the Quran except to the Fire’’.
