قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) لَوْ مَاتَ مَنْ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَ الْمَغْرِبِ لَمَا اسْتَوْحَشْتُ بَعْدَ أَنْ يَكُونَ الْقُرْآنُ مَعِي وَ كَانَ ( عليه السلام ) إِذَا قَرَأَ مالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ يُكَرِّرُهَا حَتَّى كَادَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, and Ali Bin Muhammad Al Qasany, altogether, from Al Qasim Bin Muhammad, from Suleyman Bin Dawood, from Sufyan Bin Uyayna, from Al Zuhry who said, ‘Ali<sup>asws</sup> Bin Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘(Even) if (all) the ones in the east and the west were to die, I<sup>asws</sup> would not be lonely if the Quran happens to be with me<sup>asws</sup>’. And it was so that whenever he<sup>asws</sup> recited <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:1#h4"><a href="/books/quran:1#h4">[1:4]</a></a> Master of the Day of Judgment </span>he<sup>asws</sup> would keep on repeating it until he<sup>asws</sup> would almost be dying’.
