سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الَّذِي يُعَالِجُ الْقُرْآنَ وَ يَحْفَظُهُ بِمَشَقَّةٍ مِنْهُ وَ قِلَّةِ حِفْظٍ لَهُ أَجْرَانِ .

ہمارے بہت سے اصحاب نے احمد بن محمد اور سہل بن زیاد سے بیک وقت، انہوں نے ابن محبوب سے، انہوں نے جمیل بن صالح سے، انہوں نے فضیل بن یسار سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: میں نے آپ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: بے شک جو شخص قرآن کو مشقت اور کمی حفظ کے ساتھ پڑھتا اور حفظ کرتا ہے، اس کے لیے دو اجر ہیں۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad and Sahl Bin Ziyad, altogether, from Ibn Mahboub, from Jameel Bin Salih, from Al Fuzayl Bin Yasaar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I heard him<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘The one who addresses the Quran and memorises it with difficulty from him, and has scarce memorisation, for him would be two Recompenses (double)’.
