قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) مَنْ قَرَأَ عَشْرَ آيَاتٍ فِي لَيْلَةٍ لَمْ يُكْتَبْ مِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ وَ مَنْ قَرَأَ خَمْسِينَ آيَةً كُتِبَ مِنَ الذَّاكِرِينَ وَ مَنْ قَرَأَ مِائَةَ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنَ الْقَانِتِينَ وَ مَنْ قَرَأَ مِائَتَيْ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنَ الْخَاشِعِينَ وَ مَنْ قَرَأَ ثَلَاثَ مِائَةِ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنَ الْفَائِزِينَ وَ مَنْ قَرَأَ خَمْسَمِائَةِ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنَ الْمُجْتَهِدِينَ وَ مَنْ قَرَأَ أَلْفَ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ لَهُ قِنْطَارٌ مِنْ تِبْرٍ الْقِنْطَارُ خَمْسَةَ عَشَرَ أَلْفَ مِثْقَالٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَ الْمِثْقَالُ أَرْبَعَةٌ وَ عِشْرُونَ قِيرَاطاً أَصْغَرُهَا مِثْلُ جَبَلِ أُحُدٍ وَ أَكْبَرُهَا مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ .

محمد بن یحیی نے احمد بن محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، انہوں نے محمد بن خالد اور حسین بن سعید دونوں نے، نضر بن سوید سے، انہوں نے یحیی حلبی سے، انہوں نے محمد بن مروان سے، انہوں نے سعد بن طریف سے، انہوں نے ابوجعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے فرمایا: جو شخص رات میں دس آیتیں تلاوت کرے اسے غافلوں میں نہیں لکھا جائے گا؛ جو پچاس آیات پڑھے اسے ذاکرین میں لکھا جائے گا؛ جو سو آیات پڑھے اسے قانتین میں لکھا جائے گا؛ جو دو سو آیات پڑھے اسے خاشعین میں لکھا جائے گا؛ جو تین سو آیات پڑھے اسے فائزین میں لکھا جائے گا؛ جو پانچ سو آیات پڑھے اسے مجتہدین میں لکھا جائے گا؛ اور جو ایک ہزار آیات پڑھے اس کے لیے خام سونے کا ایک قنطار لکھا جائے گا۔ قنطار پندرہ ہزار مثقال سونا ہے اور مثقال چوبیس قیراط ہے، جن میں سے سب سے چھوٹا کوہِ احد جیسا اور سب سے بڑا آسمان و زمین کے درمیان جتنا ہوگا۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Muhammad Bin Khalid and Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Al Nazar Bin Suweyd, from Yahya Al Halby, from Muhammad Bin Marwan, from Sa’ad Bin Tareyf, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The one who recites ten Verse during a night would not be Written as being from the neglectful ones; and the one who recites fifty Verses would be Written as being from the <span class="iTxt">Zakireen</span> (Oft-Mentioners of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>); and the one who recites one hundred Verses would be Written as being from the contented ones; and the one who recites two hundred Verse would be Written as being from the fearful ones; and the one who recites three hundred Verses would be Written as being from the successful ones; and the one who recites five hundred Verses would be Written as being from the strivers. And the one who recites a thousand Verses, there would be Written for him a <span class="iTxt">Qintar</span> of gold nuggets. The <span class="iTxt">Qintar</span> is fifteen thousand <span class="iTxt">Misqaal</span> of gold, and the <span class="iTxt">Misqaal</span> is twenty four <span class="iTxt">Qiraat</span>, the smallest of it being like the mountain of Ohad, and the largest of it being what is between the sky to the earth’.
