إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ أَوْحَى إِلَى مُوسَى بْنِ عِمْرَانَ ( عليه السلام ) إِذَا وَقَفْتَ بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ فَقِفْ مَوْقِفَ الذَّلِيلِ الْفَقِيرِ وَ إِذَا قَرَأْتَ التَّوْرَاةَ فَأَسْمِعْنِيهَا بِصَوْتٍ حَزِينٍ .

علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے علی بن معبد سے، انہوں نے عبد اللہ بن قاسم سے، انہوں نے عبد اللہ بن سنان سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: بے شک اللہ عزّ و جلّ نے موسیٰ بن عمران علیہ السلام کی طرف وحی فرمائی: 'جب تم میرے سامنے کھڑے ہو تو ذلیل اور فقیر کی طرح کھڑے ہو، اور جب تم توریت پڑھو تو غمگین آواز سے مجھے سناؤ۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ali Bin Ma’bad, from Abdullah Bin Al Qasim, from Abdullah Bin Sinan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Revealed unto Musa<sup>as</sup> Bin Imran<sup>as</sup>: “Whenever you<sup>as</sup> stand in front of Me<sup>azwj</sup>, so stand the standing of the disgraced one, the poor; and whenever you<sup>as</sup> recite the Torah, so make it to be heard in a grief-laden voice’.
