لَوْ قُرِئَتِ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً ثُمَّ رُدَّتْ فِيهِ الرُّوحُ مَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ عَجَباً .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muawiya Bin Ammar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘If (Surah) Al-Hamd (Chapter 1) was to be recited upon a deceased seventy times, then the soul were to return back in him, that would not be a cause for astonishment’.
