إِنَّ أَعْرَابِيّاً مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) فَقَالَ لَهُ أَوْصِنِي فَكَانَ مِمَّا أَوْصَاهُ تَحَبَّبْ إِلَى النَّاسِ يُحِبُّوكَ .

محمد بن یحیی نے احمد بن محمد اور علی بن ابراہیم سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے، سب نے ابن محبوب سے، انہوں نے ہشام بن سالم سے، انہوں نے ابو بصیر سے، انہوں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کی: ایک بدوی جو بنی تمیم کے قبیلے سے تھا، نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ کے پاس آیا اور کہا: مجھے نصیحت فرمائیں۔ آپ نے جو نصیحتیں کیں ان میں سے ایک یہ تھی: لوگوں سے محبت کرو، وہ تم سے محبت کریں گے۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad and Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, altogether, from Ibn Mahboub, from Hisham Bin Salim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Baseer, from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘A Bedouin from the Clan of Tameem came over to the Prophet<sup>saww</sup> and said to him<sup>saww</sup>: ‘Advise me’. So, from what he<sup>saww</sup> advised him was: ‘Love (and be kind) to the people, they will love you’.
