الْقَلِيلُ يَبْدَءُونَ الْكَثِيرَ بِالسَّلَامِ وَ الرَّاكِبُ يَبْدَأُ الْمَاشِيَ وَ أَصْحَابُ الْبِغَالِ يَبْدَءُونَ أَصْحَابَ الْحَمِيرِ وَ أَصْحَابُ الْخَيْلِ يَبْدَءُونَ أَصْحَابَ الْبِغَالِ .

علی بن ابراہیم نے صالح بن السندی سے، انہوں نے جعفر بن بشیر سے، انہوں نے عنبسہ بن مصعب سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: کم تعداد والے زیادہ تعداد والوں کو سلام کرتے ہیں، سوار پیادہ کو سلام کرتا ہے، خچر سوار گدھے سواروں کو سلام کرتے ہیں، اور گھوڑے سوار خچر سواروں کو سلام کرتے ہیں۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Salih Bin Al Sindy, from Ja’far Bin Bashir, from Anbasa Bin Mus’ab, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The few would be initiating the more with the greeting (السَّلَامُ), and the rider would initiate the walker, and the owner (rider) of the mules would initiate the owner (rider) of the donkeys, and the owner (rider) of the cavalry horse would be initiating the owner (rider) of the mules’.
