سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) هَلْ يَكُونُ الْيَوْمَ شَيْءٌ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي عِلْمِ اللَّهِ بِالْأَمْسِ قَالَ لَا مَنْ قَالَ هَذَا فَأَخْزَاهُ اللَّهُ قُلْتُ أَ رَأَيْتَ مَا كَانَ وَ مَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ أَ لَيْسَ فِي عِلْمِ اللَّهِ قَالَ بَلَى قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ الْخَلْقَ .

علی بن ابراہیم نے، محمد بن عیسی سے، انہوں نے یونس سے، انہوں نے منصور بن حازم سے روایت کی — انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابوعبداللہ علیہ السلام سے پوچھا: 'کیا آج کوئی ایسی چیز ہو سکتی ہے جو کل اللہ کے علم میں نہ تھی؟' آپؑ نے فرمایا: 'نہیں۔ جو کوئی یہ کہے، اللہ اسے رسوا کرے۔' میں نے کہا: 'آپ کا کیا خیال ہے جو کچھ ہوا اور جو قیامت تک ہونے والا ہے — کیا وہ اللہ کے علم میں نہیں؟' آپؑ نے فرمایا: 'ہاں یقیناً، مخلوقات کی تخلیق سے پہلے بھی۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, fromMuhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Mansour Bin Hazim who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘Would something happen today which did not happen to be in the Knowledge of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> yesterday?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No. The one who says this, so Allah<sup>azwj</sup> would Disgrace him’. I said, ‘What is your<sup>asws</sup> view of what has happened, and what is going to happen up to the Day of Judgment. Isn’t it in the Knowledge of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘But, (even) before He<sup>azwj</sup> Created the creatures’.
