إِذَا كَانَ الرَّجُلُ حَاضِراً فَكَنِّهِ وَ إِذَا كَانَ غَائِباً فَسَمِّهِ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Moammar Bin Khallad, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘When the man was present, so teknonym him, and when he was absent, so name him’.
