سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الْمَاءِ السَّاكِنِ وَ الِاسْتِنْجَاءِ مِنْهُ وَ الْجِيفَةُ فِيهِ فَقَالَ تَوَضَّأْ مِنَ الْجَانِبِ الْآخَرِ وَ لَا تَوَضَّأْ مِنْ جَانِبِ الْجِيفَةِ .

ہمارے اصحاب کی ایک جماعت نے، احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے حسین بن سعید سے، انہوں نے قاسم بن محمد سے، انہوں نے علی بن ابی حمزہ سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابا عبداللہ (علیہ السلام) سے ٹھہرے ہوئے پانی کے بارے میں پوچھا جس میں مردار پڑا ہو اور اس سے استنجاء کرنے کے بارے میں۔ تو آپ نے فرمایا: دوسری طرف سے وضو کرو اور مردار کی طرف سے وضو مت کرو۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Al Qasim Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Abu Hamza who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about stagnant water and the cleaning of oneself from it after the defecation, and the carcass being in it. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Perform Ablution <span class="iTxt">(Wudhu)</span> from the other side, and do not perform Ablution <span class="iTxt">(Wudhu)</span> from the side of the carcass’.
