سَأَلْتُهُ هَلْ يُشْرَبُ سُؤْرُ شَيْءٍ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ وَ يُتَوَضَّأُ مِنْهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَمَّا الْإِبِلُ وَ الْبَقَرُ وَ الْغَنَمُ فَلَا بَأْسَ .

میں نے ان سے پوچھا: 'کیا چوپاؤں کا جھوٹا پیا جا سکتا ہے اور اس سے وضو کیا جا سکتا ہے؟' انہوں نے کہا: تو آپ نے فرمایا: 'جہاں تک اونٹ، گائے اور بھیڑ کا تعلق ہے تو کوئی حرج نہیں۔'
Translation
Abu Dawood, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from his brother Al Hassan, from Zur’at, fro mSama’at who said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘Can one drink something from the residue (of the water drunk by) the animals, and can one perform Ablution <span class="iTxt">(Wudhu)</span> from it?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘As for the camel, and the cow, and the sheep, so there is no problem’.
