سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَ يَتَوَضَّأُ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ فَضْلِ الْمَرْأَةِ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَتْ تَعْرِفُ الْوُضُوءَ وَ لَا يَتَوَضَّأْ مِنْ سُؤْرِ الْحَائِضِ .

حسین بن محمد نے معلی بن محمد سے، انہوں نے وشاء سے، انہوں نے حماد بن عثمان سے، انہوں نے ابن ابی یعفور سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے پوچھا: کیا مرد عورت کے بچے ہوئے پانی سے وضو کر سکتا ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: جب وہ وضو جانتی ہو۔ اور حائضہ کے بچے ہوئے پانی سے وضو نہ کرے۔
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Al Washa, from Hammad Bin Usman, from Ibn Abu Yafour who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘Can the man perform Ablution <span class="iTxt">(Wudhu)</span> from the excess residue of the woman?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘When it was so that she recognises the (performance of) Ablution <span class="iTxt">(Wudhu)</span>, and he cannot perform Ablution <span class="iTxt">(Wudhu)</span> from the residue of the menstruating woman’.
