John Shaqi

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى ( عليه السلام ) قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ يَكُونُ خُفُّ الرَّجُلِ مُخَرَّقاً فَيُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ فَيَمْسَحُ ظَهْرَ قَدَمِهِ أَ يُجْزِئُهُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ نَعَمْ .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ali Bin Ismail, from Ali Bin Al Numan, from Al Qasim Bin Muhammad, from Ja’far in Suleyman, from his uncle who said, ‘I asked Abu Al-Hassan Musa<sup>asws</sup>. I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for you<sup>asws</sup>! The footwear of the man happens to be torn, so he enters his hand and wipes the back of his foot, would that suffice him?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes’.
