سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ إِنَّ مِمَّا أَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَى مُوسَى ( عليه السلام ) وَ أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْهِ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ أَنِّي أَنَا اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنَا خَلَقْتُ الْخَلْقَ وَ خَلَقْتُ الْخَيْرَ وَ أَجْرَيْتُهُ عَلَى يَدَيْ مَنْ أُحِبُّ فَطُوبَى لِمَنْ أَجْرَيْتُهُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ وَ أَنَا اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنَا خَلَقْتُ الْخَلْقَ وَ خَلَقْتُ الشَّرَّ وَ أَجْرَيْتُهُ عَلَى يَدَيْ مَنْ أُرِيدُهُ فَوَيْلٌ لِمَنْ أَجْرَيْتُهُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ .

میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: جو اللہ نے موسیٰ علیہ السلام پر وحی کی اور توراۃ میں نازل فرمایا، اس میں یہ بھی تھا: "میں، میں اللہ ہوں — میرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ میں نے مخلوق کو پیدا کیا اور میں نے خیر کو پیدا کیا اور اسے ان لوگوں کے ہاتھوں جاری کیا جن سے میں محبت کرتا ہوں، پس خوشا اس شخص کے لیے جس کے ہاتھوں پر میں نے اسے جاری کیا۔" "اور میں اللہ ہوں — میرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ میں نے مخلوق کو پیدا کیا اور میں نے شر کو پیدا کیا اور اسے ان لوگوں کے ہاتھوں جاری کیا جن کا میں نے ارادہ کیا، پس وائے ہو اس شخص کے لیے جس کے ہاتھوں میں نے اسے جاری کیا۔"
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Ibn Mahboub and Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Muawiya Bin Wahab who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘From what Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Revealed unto Musa<sup>as</sup> and Revealed unto him<sup>as</sup> in the Torah was: “I<sup>azwj</sup>, I<sup>azwj</sup> am Allah<sup>azwj</sup>. There is no god except from Me<sup>azwj</sup>. I<sup>azwj</sup> Created the creatures and Created the Good and Flowed it upon the hands of the ones I<sup>azwj</sup> Love. So Beatitude is for the ones I<sup>azwj</sup> Caused it to flow upon his hands. And I<sup>azwj</sup> am Allah<sup>azwj</sup>. There is no god except for Me<sup>azwj</sup>. I<sup>azwj</sup> Created the creatures, and Created the evil, and I<sup>azwj</sup> Flowed it upon the hands of the ones I<sup>azwj</sup> Intended to. So, Woe is for the ones I<sup>azwj</sup> Flowed it upon his hands!”’.
