John Shaqi

أَبْوَالِ الدَّوَابِّ تُصِيبُ الثَّوْبَ فَكَرِهَهُ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَ لَيْسَ لُحُومُهَا حَلَالًا قَالَ بَلَى وَ لَكِنْ لَيْسَ مِمَّا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ لِلْأَكْلِ .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Al Qasim Bin Urwat, from Bukeyr Bin Ayn, from Zurara, (It has been narrated) from one of the two (5<sup>th</sup> or 6<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>) regarding the urines of the animals hitting the clothes. So he<sup>asws</sup> disliked it. So I said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘Is not their flesh Permissible (to eat)?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, but it is not from what Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Made for the eating’.
