إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدِ الْمُسَافِرُ الْمَاءَ فَلْيَطْلُبْ مَا دَامَ فِي الْوَقْتِ فَإِذَا خَافَ أَنْ يَفُوتَهُ الْوَقْتُ فَلْيَتَيَمَّمْ وَ لْيُصَلِّ فِي آخِرِ الْوَقْتِ فَإِذَا وَجَدَ الْمَاءَ فَلَا قَضَاءَ عَلَيْهِ وَ لْيَتَوَضَّأْ لِمَا يَسْتَقْبِلُ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Ibn Azina, from Zurara, (It has been narrated) from one of the two (5<sup>th</sup> or 6<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>) having said: ‘When the traveller cannot find the water, so let him seek for as long as he is within the time (for the <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>). But if he fears missing the time, so let him perform <span class="iTxt">Tayammum</span>, and let him pray <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span> during the end time. So when he does find the water, there would be no repayment (of the <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>) upon him, and let him perform Ablution <span class="iTxt">(Wudhu)</span> for what is next (<span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>)’.
