سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ فَقَالَ مَا جَازَ الشَّهْرَ فَهُوَ رِيبَةٌ .

علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے ابن ابی عمیر سے، انہوں نے حماد سے، انہوں نے الحلبی سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: میں نے ان سے اللہ عزوجل کے قول 'اگر تمہیں شبہ ہو' [65:4] کے بارے میں پوچھا۔ تو آپ نے فرمایا: جو کچھ مہینہ سے گزر جائے وہ ریب (شبہ) ہے۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:65#h4"><a href="/books/quran:65#h4">[65:4]</a></a> if you have a doubt</span>. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Whatever exceeds the month, so it is doubtful’.
