أَقَلُّ مَا يَكُونُ الْحَيْضُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَ أَكْثَرُ مَا يَكُونُ عَشَرَةُ أَيَّامٍ .

محمد بن اسماعیل نے فضل بن شاذان سے، اور علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، دونوں نے ابن ابی عمیر سے، انہوں نے معاویہ بن عمار سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: حیض کا کم سے کم تین دن ہوتا ہے اور زیادہ سے زیادہ دس دن۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, and Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, altogether from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muawiya Bin Ammar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The least of what the menstruation (<span class="iTxt">Haydh</span>) happens is for three days, and the most of what it can happen to be for is ten days’.
