قُلْتُ كَيْفَ تَعْرِفُ الطَّامِثُ طُهْرَهَا قَالَ تَعْتَمِدُ بِرِجْلِهَا الْيُسْرَى عَلَى الْحَائِطِ وَ تَسْتَدْخِلُ الْكُرْسُفَ بِيَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى فَإِنْ كَانَ ثَمَّ مِثْلُ رَأْسِ الذُّبَابِ خَرَجَ عَلَى الْكُرْسُفِ .

محمد بن یحییٰ نے سلمہ بن الخطاب سے، انہوں نے علی بن الحسن الطاطری سے، انہوں نے محمد بن ابی حمزہ سے، انہوں نے ابن مسکان سے، انہوں نے شرحبیل الکندی سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ: میں نے عرض کیا: 'حائضہ عورت اپنی طہارت کیسے پہچانے گی؟' آپ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: 'وہ اپنے بائیں پاؤں کو دیوار پر ٹیک کر، دائیں ہاتھ سے روئی کا ٹکڑا اندر داخل کرے۔ اگر اس روئی پر مکھی کے سر جتنا بھی (خون) نکلے تو (ابھی طہارت نہیں ہوئی)۔'
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Salma Bin Al Khattab, from Ali Bin Al Hassan Al Tatary, from Muhammad Bin Abu Hamza, from Ibn Muskan, from Shurahbeyl Al Kindy, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I said, ‘How would the menstruating woman recognise that she is clean?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘She would lean with her left leg against the wall, and she would insert the cloth with her right hand. So she was (still) menstruating, (blood) the like of the head of the fly would come out upon the cloth’.
