سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ التَّعْوِيذِ يُعَلَّقُ عَلَى الْحَائِضِ قَالَ نَعَمْ لَا بَأْسَ قَالَ وَ قَالَ تَقْرَؤُهُ وَ تَكْتُبُهُ وَ لَا تُصِيبُهُ يَدُهَا وَ رُوِيَ أَنَّهَا لَا تَكْتُبُ الْقُرْآنَ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Dawood Bin Farqad, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the amulet hanging upon the menstruating woman. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, there is no problem’. He (the narrator) said, ‘And he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘She can recite it and write it, but her hand cannot touch it’. And it is reported that she cannot write the Quran.
