سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ مِيتَةِ الْمُؤْمِنِ فَقَالَ يَمُوتُ الْمُؤْمِنُ بِكُلِّ مِيتَةٍ يَمُوتُ غَرَقاً وَ يَمُوتُ بِالْهَدْمِ وَ يُبْتَلَى بِالسَّبُعِ وَ يَمُوتُ بِالصَّاعِقَةِ وَ لَا تُصِيبُ ذَاكِرَ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى .
اردو
میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے مؤمن کی موت کی نوعیت کے بارے میں پوچھا۔ تو آپ نے فرمایا: مؤمن ہر طرح کی موت مرتا ہے — ڈوب کر مرتا ہے، اور دب کر مرتا ہے، اور درندوں سے مبتلا ہوتا ہے، اور بجلی گرنے سے مرتا ہے — لیکن اللہ تعالیٰ کا ذکر کرنے والے کو یہ نہیں پہنچتی۔
Translation
Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Al Hassan Bin Muhammad, from Wuheyb Bin Hafs, from Abu Baseer who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the deceased Believer. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The Believer dies with every (type) of death, dying with the drowning, and dying with being crushed (by a structure), and afflicted by the predatory wild animals, and dying by the thunderbolt, but not being struck when mentioning Allah<sup>azwj</sup> the Exalted’.
