قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) الْمَرْأَةُ تَقْعُدُ عِنْدَ رَأْسِ الْمَرِيضِ وَ هِيَ حَائِضٌ فِي حَدِّ الْمَوْتِ فَقَالَ لَا بَأْسَ أَنْ تُمَرِّضَهُ فَإِذَا خَافُوا عَلَيْهِ وَ قَرُبَ ذَلِكَ فَلْتَتَنَحَّ عَنْهُ وَ عَنْ قُرْبِهِ فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تَتَأَذَّى بِذَلِكَ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, and a number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ali Bin Abu Hamza who said, ‘I said to Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>, ‘The woman sits by the side of the head of the patient during the limit of death, and she is menstruating’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘There is no problem with it if she looks after him. So when there is fear (of dying) upon him and that (time) is near, so let her desist from him and from his proximity, for the Angels are harmed by that (menstruation)’.
