الْمَيِّتُ يُكَفَّنُ فِي ثَلَاثَةٍ سِوَى الْعِمَامَةِ وَ الْخِرْقَةِ يَشُدُّ بِهَا وَرِكَيْهِ لِكَيْلَا يَبْدُوَ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ وَ الْخِرْقَةُ وَ الْعِمَامَةُ لَا بُدَّ مِنْهُمَا وَ لَيْسَتَا مِنَ الْكَفَنِ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Abdullah Bin Sinan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The deceased would be enshrouded in three (clothes) besides the turban, and the cloth would be tightened around his hips lest something be apparent from it, and the cloth and the turban are both inevitable and they are both from the shroud’.
