John Shaqi

الْكَفَنُ يَكُونُ بُرْداً فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ بُرْداً فَاجْعَلْهُ كُلَّهُ قُطْناً فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدْ عِمَامَةَ قُطْنٍ فَاجْعَلِ الْعِمَامَةَ سَابِرِيّاً .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad, from Ahmad Bin Al Hassan Bin Ali, from Amro Bin Saeed, from Musaddaq Bin Sadaqa, from Ammar Bin Musa, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The shroud should happen to be <span class="iTxt">Burda</span> (a fabric), so if it cannot happen to be <span class="iTxt">Burda</span>, so make all of it to be cotton. If you cannot find a cotton turban, so make the turban to be of <span class="iTxt">Sabiriyya</span> (a fabric)’.
