مَوْضِعٍ لَا يُمْكِنُ النَّخْلُ فَكَتَبَ يَجُوزُ إِذَا أُعْوِزَتِ الْجَرِيدَةُ وَ الْجَرِيدَةُ أَفْضَلُ وَ بِهِ جَاءَتِ الرِّوَايَةُ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Ali Bin Muhammad Al Qasany, from Muhammad Bin Muhammad, (It has been narrated) from Ali Bin Bilal who wrote to him<sup>asws</sup> asking him<sup>asws</sup> about the twig, ‘When it cannot be found, can we make something else to be in its place, if the palm tree is not possible to get to?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> wrote: ‘When the twig (of the palm tree) is scarce; and the twig (of the palm tree) is superior, and with it has the report come’.
