John Shaqi

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الْمَيِّتِ يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ الشَّعْرُ فَيُحْلَقُ عَنْهُ أَوْ يُقَلَّمُ قَالَ لَا يُمَسُّ مِنْهُ شَيْ‏ءٌ اغْسِلْهُ وَ ادْفِنْهُ .


Translation

Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Al Hassan Bin Muhammad Al Kindy, from Ahmad Bin Al Hassan Al Maysami, from Aban Bin Usman, from Abdul Rahman Bin Abu Abdullah who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the decease who happens to have the hair upon him, so can it be shaved off from it or clipped?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Do not touch anything from him. Wash him and bury him’.
