John Shaqi

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَخْرُجُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَ مَعَهُ امْرَأَتُهُ يُغَسِّلُهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ وَ أُمُّهُ وَ أُخْتُهُ وَ نَحْوُ هَذَا يُلْقَى عَلَى عَوْرَتِهَا خِرْقَةٌ .


Translation

Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar and Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, altogether from Safwan Bin Yahya, from Mansour Bin Hazim who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the man going out in a journey and with him is his wife, can he wash her (if she were to die)?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, and (he can wash) his mother, and his sister and such as this, casting a cloth upon her private part’.
