الْمَرْأَةِ إِذَا مَاتَتْ وَ لَيْسَ مَعَهَا امْرَأَةٌ تُغَسِّلُهَا قَالَ يُدْخِلُ زَوْجُهَا يَدَهُ تَحْتَ قَمِيصِهَا فَيُغَسِّلُهَا إِلَى الْمَرَافِقِ .
Translation
Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibn Raib, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding the woman when she dies and there is no woman with her to wash her. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Her husband would insert his hand under her shirt, up to the elbows, and he would wash her’.
