سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ رَجُلٍ يُصَلِّي عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ وَحْدَهُ قَالَ نَعَمْ قُلْتُ فَاثْنَانِ يُصَلِّيَانِ عَلَيْهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ وَ لَكِنْ يَقُومُ الْآخَرُ خَلْفَ الْآخَرِ وَ لَا يَقُومُ بِجَنْبِهِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Yahya Bin Zakariyya, from his father Zakariyya Bin Musa, from Al Yas’a Bin Abdullah Al Qummy who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about a man, ‘Can he pray <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span> upon one a deceased, alone?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes’. I said, ‘So can two pray upon it?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, but the other one should stand behind him and should not be standing by his side’.
