قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) خَيْرُ الصُّفُوفِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ الْمُقَدَّمُ وَ خَيْرُ الصُّفُوفِ فِي الْجَنَائِزِ الْمُؤَخَّرُ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَ لِمَ قَالَ صَارَ سُتْرَةً لِلنِّسَاءِ.
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The best of the rows regarding the (Prescribed) <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span> is the first one, and the best of the rows regarding the funeral is the last one’. It was said, ‘O Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup>! And why is it so?’ He<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘For it to become a veil for the women’.
