إِذَا حَثَوْتَ التُّرَابَ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ فَقُلْ إِيمَاناً بِكَ وَ تَصْدِيقاً بِبَعْثِكَ هَذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا اللَّهُ وَ رَسُولُهُ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) قَالَ وَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) يَقُولُ مَنْ حَثَا عَلَى مَيِّتٍ وَ قَالَ هَذَا الْقَوْلَ أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ ذَرَّةٍ حَسَنَةً .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘When you spread the soil upon the deceased, say, ‘I believe in You<sup>azwj</sup> and ratify Your<sup>azwj</sup> Resurrection. <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:33#h22"><a href="/books/quran:33#h22">[33:22]</a></a> This is what Allah and His Rasool promised us</span>’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘And Amir Al Momineen<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘I<sup>asws</sup> heard Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> saying: ‘The one who spreads (soil) upon a deceased and says these words, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> would Give him a Reward from every particle (of soil)’.
