قُلْتُ لَهُ أَ تَبْقَى الْأَرْضُ بِغَيْرِ إِمَامٍ قَالَ لَا قُلْتُ فَإِنَّا نُرَوَّى عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّهَا لَا تَبْقَى بِغَيْرِ إِمَامٍ إِلَّا أَنْ يَسْخَطَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ أَوْ عَلَى الْعِبَادِ فَقَالَ لَا لَا تَبْقَى إِذاً لَسَاخَتْ .
اردو
علی بن ابراہیم، محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، محمد بن الفضیل سے، ابو الحسن الرضا علیہ السلام سے، جنہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے ان سے کہا: “کیا زمین امام کے بغیر باقی رہ سکتی ہے؟” انہوں نے فرمایا: “نہیں۔” میں نے کہا: “کیونکہ ہم ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ وہ امام کے بغیر باقی نہیں رہتی، مگر یہ کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اہلِ زمین یا بندوں پر غضبناک ہو جائے۔” تو انہوں نے فرمایا: “نہیں، نہیں؛ وہ باقی نہ رہے گی۔ اس صورت میں وہ دھنس جائے گی۔”
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Muhammad Bin Al Fuzayl, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘Can the earth remain without an Imam<sup>asws</sup>?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No’. I said, ‘But we are reporting from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> that it would not remain without an Imam<sup>asws</sup> except that it would bog down upon the inhabitants of the earth, or upon the servants’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No. It would not remain when it bogs down (its inhabitants)’.
