إِذَا مَاتَ الرَّجُلُ فِي السَّفِينَةِ وَ لَمْ يُقْدَرْ عَلَى الشَّطِّ قَالَ يُكَفَّنُ وَ يُحَنَّطُ وَ يُلَفُّ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَ يُلْقَى فِي الْمَاءِ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, (It has been narrated) raising it from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘When the man dies in the ship and it is not able upon (getting to the) coast, he should be enshrouded, and embalmed, and wrapped in a cloth, and would be cast into the sea’.
