John Shaqi

إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَيَعْجَبُ مِنَ الرَّجُلِ يَمُوتُ وَلَدُهُ وَ هُوَ يَحْمَدُ اللَّهَ فَيَقُولُ يَا مَلَائِكَتِي عَبْدِي أَخَذْتُ نَفْسَهُ وَ هُوَ يَحْمَدُنِي .


Translation

Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Abdul Rahman Bin Al Hajjaj, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, or Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic is Astounded from the man whose child dies and he praises Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, so He<sup>azwj</sup> is Saying: “O My<sup>azwj</sup> Angels! My<sup>azwj</sup> servant, I<sup>azwj</sup> Took his most beloved and he is praising Me<sup>azwj</sup>!’.
