مَنْ ذَكَرَ مُصِيبَتَهُ وَ لَوْ بَعْدَ حِينٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَ إِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ اللَّهُمَّ آجِرْنِي عَلَى مُصِيبَتِي وَ أَخْلِفْ عَلَيَّ أَفْضَلَ مِنْهَا كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ مِثْلُ مَا كَانَ عِنْدَ أَوَّلِ صَدْمَةٍ .
Translation
Ali, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Dawood Bin Razeyn, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The one who remembers his difficulty (bereavement), and even though it may be after a while, so he says <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:2#h156"><a href="/books/quran:2#h156">[2:156]</a></a> Surely we are for Allah and to Him we are returning</span> and <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:1#h2"><a href="/books/quran:1#h2">[1:2]</a></a> The praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds</span>. O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! Recompense me upon my difficulty and Replace upon me that which is superior than it’, would have for him from the Recompense, similar to what he had during the first shock’.
