أَشْهَدُ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ عَلِيّاً إِمَامٌ فَرَضَ اللَّهُ طَاعَتَهُ وَ أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ إِمَامٌ فَرَضَ اللَّهُ طَاعَتَهُ وَ أَنَّ الْحُسَيْنَ إِمَامٌ فَرَضَ اللَّهُ طَاعَتَهُ وَ أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ إِمَامٌ فَرَضَ اللَّهُ طَاعَتَهُ وَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ إِمَامٌ فَرَضَ اللَّهُ طَاعَتَهُ .

حسین بن محمد اشعری نے معلّی بن محمد سے، انہوں نے حسن بن علی وشاء سے، انہوں نے ابان بن عثمان سے، انہوں نے ابو صباح سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ میں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: 'میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ علی امام ہیں جن کی اطاعت اللہ نے واجب قرار دی ہے؛ اور الحسن امام ہیں جن کی اطاعت اللہ نے واجب قرار دی ہے؛ اور الحسین امام ہیں جن کی اطاعت اللہ نے واجب قرار دی ہے؛ اور علی بن الحسین امام ہیں جن کی اطاعت اللہ نے واجب قرار دی ہے؛ اور محمد بن علی امام ہیں جن کی اطاعت اللہ نے واجب قرار دی ہے۔'
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad Al Ashary, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Ali Al Washa, from Aban Bin Usman, from Abu Al Sabah who said, ‘I bear witness that I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘I<sup>asws</sup> testify that Ali<sup>asws</sup> is an Imam<sup>asws</sup>, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Imposed obedience to him<sup>asws</sup>; and that Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> is an Imam<sup>asws</sup>, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Imposed obedience to him<sup>asws</sup>; and that Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> is an Imam<sup>asws</sup>, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Imposed obedience to him<sup>asws</sup>; and that Ali<sup>asws</sup> Bin Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> is an Imam<sup>asws</sup>, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Imposed obedience to him<sup>asws</sup>; and that Muhammad<sup>asws</sup> Bin Ali<sup>asws</sup> is an Imam<sup>asws</sup>, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Imposed obedience to him<sup>asws</sup>’.
