قَالَ يَا زُرَارَةُ تَفْتَتِحُ الْأَذَانَ بِأَرْبَعِ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ وَ تَخْتِمُهُ بِتَكْبِيرَتَيْنِ وَ تَهْلِيلَتَيْنِ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Sh<span class="iTxt">Azān</span>, from Hammad Bin Isa, from Hareyz, from Zurara, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘O Zurara! Open the <span class="iTxt">Azān</span> with exclamations of four <span class="iTxt">Takbīr</span>s, and end it with exclamations of two <span class="iTxt">Takbīr</span>s and two Extollations (of Oneness)’.
