Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Al Qasim Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Abu Hamza, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from one of the two (5th or 6th Imamasws, said, ‘I asked himasws, ‘Would one <span class="iTxt">Azān</span> suffice me?’ Heasws said: ‘When you are praying <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> in a <span class="iTxt">Jam’at</span>, it would not suffice you except for an <span class="iTxt">Azān</span> and an <span class="iTxt">Iqamah</span>; but if you were alone initiating a matter fearing that it (<span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>) would be missed out by you, an <span class="iTxt">Iqamah</span> would suffice you, except for Al-Fajr and Al-Maghrib, for it is befitting that you recite an <span class="iTxt">Azān</span> regarding these two and an <span class="iTxt">Iqamah</span> due to the reason that there is no shortening in these two just as you would shorten in the rest of the <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>s’.
