قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) إِنَّ عِنْدَنَا قَوْماً لَهُمْ مَحَبَّةٌ وَ لَيْسَتْ لَهُمْ تِلْكَ الْعَزِيمَةُ يَقُولُونَ بِهَذَا الْقَوْلِ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ أُولَئِكَ مِمَّنْ عَاتَبَ اللَّهُ إِنَّمَا قَالَ اللَّهُ فَاعْتَبِرُوا يا أُولِي الْأَبْصارِ .

میں نے ابو الحسن علیہ السلام سے عرض کیا: 'بے شک ہمارے یہاں ایسے لوگ ہیں جن کے دلوں میں محبت تو ہے، لیکن ان میں وہ عزم نہیں جو اس قول کے ساتھ ہونا چاہیے۔' تو انہوں نے فرمایا: 'وہ لوگ ان میں سے نہیں جن کو اللہ نے سرزنش کی ہے۔ بلکہ اللہ نے فرمایا: "پس عبرت حاصل کرو اے آنکھ والو۔" [قرآن 59:2]
Translation
And from him, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Fazzal, from Al Hassan Bin Al Jahm who said, ‘I said to Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>, ‘In our presence there is a group of people, for them is love, and there isn’t that magnificence for them that they should be saying with this word (Al-Wilayah)’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘They are from the ones whom Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Admonished. But rather, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:59#h2"><a href="/books/quran:59#h2">[59:2]</a></a> therefore take a lesson, O you who have vision</span>’.
