سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فَقُلْتُ مَا يَقُولُ الرَّجُلُ خَلْفَ الْإِمَامِ إِذَا قَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ قَالَ يَقُولُ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ وَ يَخْفِضُ مِنْ صَوْتِهِ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Sh<span class="iTxt">Azān</span>, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, fom Jameel Bin Darraj who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, so I said, ‘What should the man be saying behind the prayer leader when he says, ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Hears the one who praises Him<sup>azwj</sup>’?. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘He should be saying, ‘The Praise is for Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, Lord<sup>azwj</sup> of the worlds’, and he should lower his voice’.
