John Shaqi

الْجَبْهَةُ كُلُّهَا مِنْ قُصَاصِ شَعْرِ الرَّأْسِ إِلَى الْحَاجِبَيْنِ مَوْضِعُ السُّجُودِ فَأَيُّمَا سَقَطَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ أَجْزَأَكَ مِقْدَارُ الدِّرْهَمِ وَ مِقْدَارُ طَرَفِ الْأَنْمُلَةِ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Hammad Bin Isa, from Hareyz, from Zurara, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The forehead is all of it, from the beginning of the hair of the head up to the two eyebrows, is a place for the <span class="iTxt">Sajdah</span>. So, whichever (part) from that falls to the ground, it would suffice you, the measurement of a Dirham (coin), and the measurement of the finger-tip’.
