سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى اسْتِكْمَالُ حُجَّتِي عَلَى الْأَشْقِيَاءِ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ مِنْ تَرْكِ وَلَايَةِ عَلِيٍّ وَ الْأَوْصِيَاءِ مِنْ بَعْدِكَ فَإِنَّ فِيهِمْ سُنَّتَكَ وَ سُنَّةَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَ هُمْ خُزَّانِي عَلَى عِلْمِي مِنْ بَعْدِكَ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لَقَدْ أَنْبَأَنِي جَبْرَئِيلُ ( عليه السلام ) بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ وَ أَسْمَاءِ آبَائِهِمْ .

محمد بن یحیی نے محمد بن حسین سے، انہوں نے نضر بن شعیب سے، انہوں نے محمد بن فضیل سے، انہوں نے ابو حمزہ سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام کو فرماتے سنا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے فرمایا: اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ نے فرمایا: 'تیری امت میں بدبختوں پر میری حجت کا مکمل ہونا علی اور تیرے بعد کے اوصیاء کی ولایت ترک کرنے سے ہے، کیونکہ ان میں تیری سنت اور تجھ سے پہلے کے انبیاء کی سنت ہے، اور وہ تیرے بعد میرے علم کے خزانہ دار ہیں۔' پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے فرمایا: 'یقیناً جبرئیل علیہ السلام نے مجھے ان کے نام اور ان کے آباء کے نام بتائے ہیں۔'
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Al Nazar Bin Shuayb, from Muhammad Bin Al Fuzayl, from Abu Hamza who said, ‘I heard Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Blessed and High Said: “I<sup>azwj</sup> Completed My<sup>azwj</sup> Proof upon the wretched ones of your<sup>saww</sup> Community of the neglecting of the Wilayah of Ali<sup>asws</sup> and the successors<sup>asws</sup> from after you<sup>saww</sup>, in them<sup>asws</sup> is your<sup>saww</sup> Sunnah and the Sunnah of the Prophets<sup>as</sup> from before you<sup>saww</sup>, and they<sup>asws</sup> are the treasurers upon My<sup>azwj</sup> Knowledge from after you<sup>saww</sup>”’. Then he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Jibraeel<sup>as</sup> has informed me<sup>saww</sup> of their<sup>asws</sup> names and the names of their<sup>asws</sup> forefathers<sup>asws</sup>’’.
