الْقُنُوتُ فِي الْفَرِيضَةِ الدُّعَاءُ وَ فِي الْوَتْرِ الِاسْتِغْفَارُ .
Translation
By this chain, from Fazalat, from Aban, from Abdul Rahman Bin Abu Abdullah, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The <span class="iTxt">Qunut</span> in the Obligatory (<span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>) is the supplication, and in the Witr (<span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>), it is the seeking of Forgiveness’.
